It can be challenging to find find effective ways to captivate audience’s attention online and make content stick! Chevrolet team was looking for a fun visual way to deliver new vehicles features that make busy parenting easier and allow families spend more time together instead of technology.
Optimising Parenthood – a visual blog story that talked Chevrolet Equinox and Traverse SUVs offering easy access to high-tech features built into the vehicle. From having your groceries ready for curb-side pickup to Amazon deliveries to your car—even ordering a last-minute pizza for dinner with a tap on your touch-screen)!
Our task here was to create an infographic that contained key features, including:
The task was to make this tech-focused content stand out! They chose to do an infographic for their magazine layout and a short speed-up scribing video as a blog post. Scribing video was the focus of this project – making all these features come to life in a visual storytelling way through real-life video.
Apps, gadgets, and clever in-car technologies let busy parents get more done in less time.
As a team of illustrators and a filming crew (who joined us to deliver this scribing project), we had lots of fun together: planning, drawing, and filming. The time on set was only a fracture of the whole project preparation work we did—the entire project involved: digital illustration creation, live drawing on the stage, and video creation. The whole project involved: infographic creation, real-life scribing, filming crew work and video production.
The results were great. Chevy’s team used the final scribing video on the digital Chevy Roads Magazine, the infographic in one of their magazine spreads. The client was pleased, and so were we! This funky scribing campaign journey was a fun challenge to solve. All the process is captured in a video format now. And so, we are off with ease to the next video scribing project.
P.S. Somebody’s dream of illustrating vehicles and babies at work – became true!
